Connie Fare

Dental Prosthetist / Dental Technician

Connie was born in Roma and spent time in Morven, Toowoomba and finally Charleville where she settled to complete most of her schooling.

After graduating from Charleville State High School, Connie enlisted into the Army and began a career as a Dental Assistant in 1996 in the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps (RAADC). It was there that she later trained as a Dental Technician.  During 13 years in the RAADC, Connie was given the opportunity to work with a number of outstanding people and a variety of specialists in a number of areas including health care, engineering, transport and catering.  She have spent time all over Australia and even served 6 months in East Timor where her Dental Laboratory was set up in a shipping container.  She considers herself very fortunate to have spent that time in the RAADC as it helped her to become the person she is today.

Connie completed an Advanced Diploma in Dental Prosthetics and began aiding in personal denture care as a Dental Prosthetist. This was great step forward as it allowed her to provide direct, personalised care to people and as she can fabricate the dentures herself, enabling Connie to stand by her work completely.

Prior to moving to Roma, she operated a mobile Denture Care service in Ipswich and once a month traveled to Charleville to provide denture care (while visiting her parents).

Connie and her 2 boys are settled in Roma, and are enjoying the lifestyle that living here provides.
